This paper presents an experimentally validated computational study of heat transfer within a compact recuperated Brayton cycle microturbine. Compact microturbine designs are necessary for certain applications, such as solar dish concentrated power systems, to ensure robust rotodynamic behaviour over the wide operating envelope. aims at studying 6 kWe micro gas turbine provide better understanding effect on its components’ performance. also investigates thermal losses performance part system and implications increasing size cost system. Steady-state conjugate analyses were performed different speeds expansion ratios include range conditions. The extended examine effects insulating thermodynamic efficiency rated output. results show that reduces from side by approximately 11% without affecting compressor’s Nonetheless, still impose significant impact performance, where these lead drop 7.1% net output 6.6% design point
